D3TV is back up and running for the Spring of 2017. Katie Browning has taken over as the general manager. The entire board is full of fresh new faces eager to make some changes to a great station.
We are currently looking for new segments to go into production. If you have any show ideas please email us and let us know. Anything involving comedy, news, drama, politics, sports- anything you can think of. We are here to help with anything you need such as planning, production, and post-production.
The first episode of TSN aired on Thursday February 9 and will be currently on hold due to some show changes. As soon as we know the next air date we will let you all know!
The first episode of The Source aired on Wednesday February 15. The show consisted of stories such as Sexual Assault and new Title IX Changes to the vote against DePauw becoming a sanctuary campus. There was even an interview with Professor Rebecca Alexander.
For more information on the stories featured on both TSN and The Source, check out D3TV's Youtube page.
D3TV will be producing a new segment titled D3 in 30, which will be a short 30 second newscast consisting of all of the top stories that will be featured on The Source and in The DePauw later that week.

And finally, after a long summer apart, students are back on campus and D3TV is up and running again with some exciting changes from the 2016-2017 school year. Our first episodes aired this week. Throughout the semester, D3TV will still be hosting The Source on Wednesdays at 7:30, Tiger Sports Nation on Thursdays at 7:30, as well as multiple other student run shows. Within the next few weeks, the first episode of the pre-recorded late night show will air, so keep an eye out for that. We will send updates!
This semester, D3TV is aiming at producing more short content shows, so if anyone has any creative ideas or wants to get in front of the camera, come run your idea by us and we’d love to work something out! Additionally, in November D3TV is sponsoring an election viewing party on campus the night of the election. More details will come as time approaches, but we are eagerly looking forward to the event.
Our office is located in the Pulliam Center if you ever have any questions. Feel free to follow us on social media and check out the playlists on our YouTube channel and watch some of your favorite shows at any time. Looking forward to a good year!

Why does anyone get involved with anything on their college campus? For things like meeting new people, gaining experience, or simply just because they need to get involved in something. With D3TV, it is so much more than just that. Not only will joining D3TV provide you with experience in media, but it will also give you the opportunity to experience it on many different levels. You could start with working with others on a team, to becoming the head of that department by the end of the year. Or, begin with working behind the scenes on any one of our great shows such as the Pre-Recorded Late Night Show or The Source, to stepping in front of the camera in order to experience the show from the other side. If that’s not really your style, then marketing for all of D3TV is another fabulous option. D3TV will give you experience, but it will also give you so many opportunities to reach outside your comfort zone in order to try something you would have never done before.
Not only would joining D3TV expand your comfort zone, but it also looks great on a resume! With all of the different departments, and the positions within those departments, it would be hard to come out of D3TV at the end of your college career and not have a diverse set of media experience--just look at past alumni.
So join D3TV today! It’s an experience you won’t regret.
