It’s a week and a half away from the official start of the 2015-2016 school year, and DePauw’s D3TV Board of Directors is already on campus and hard at work. Lead by this year’s General Manager, Madison McIntyre, the news station is determined to take advantage of our 9 to 9 work schedule and crank out content that can be utilized throughout the semester.
By getting ahead of the game and creating video packages before school begins, we hope to be more prepared for our upcoming productions and have more time to dedicate to marketing ourselves. With a whole week devoted to D3TV, we will be able to focus all of our time and efforts towards being the best campus connection for the students at DePauw.
The most exciting purpose of our early return to campus is the annual D3TV Marathon: a live broadcasting event that is scheduled to take place this Saturday, August 22nd from 9:30-11:30 a.m. We aim to interact with incoming freshmen and others returning to campus in hopes of recruiting new members to add to the D3TV team. This year’s Marathon live broadcast can be viewed on the D3TV website: www.d3tv.org. During this time, we will also be leading tours through our new, state-of-the-art production studio for those interested in becoming involved with D3TV.
We hope everyone is having an awesome last week of summer, and can’t wait to see our fellow Tigers on campus this weekend! Be sure to tune in to D3TV marathon from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on move-in day to get a taste of your new and improved Campus Connection.
